Tidy runs here on your device, instantly and free: it strips the ums and the you-knows, fixes spacing and capitals, and closes the last sentence. Rewrite is the smarter one that restructures what you said into notes, an email or bars, and it needs the paid engine. Undo puts either one back.
While dictating you can speak the punctuation: say period, comma, question mark, new line or new paragraph and it types the mark instead of the word. Switch it off at the bottom of the pad if it gets in your way.
Records the whole room, then transcribes it properly and writes you a summary with decisions and action items. This one does not use the browser's engine, so it holds up over an hour and gets names right. It needs your own API key, set below.
Get one at platform.openai.com, under API keys. The key is stored only in this browser, on this device. It never reaches GitHub, never reaches me, and is sent straight from your browser to OpenAI and nowhere else. Remove wipes it.
A key turns on three things: Meeting above, Rewrite in the panel higher up, and proper voices for read back that do not depend on what your device has installed. You pay OpenAI directly for what you use.
Dictate, then correct the mistakes in the pad yourself, then press Learn from my edits. It works out what it got wrong and offers to remember it. Everything you approve is applied automatically from then on, so the same name never has to be fixed twice. Names you add also get their capitals right. This is stored on this device only.
